Mahindra & Mahindra is ramping up production of its recently launched MPV Xylo seeing the high demand of the car. Mahindra Xylo was launched in 2009 January and is targeted to high-end customers.
According to Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mr. Anand Mahindra, “The company has received a long waiting list of five weeks and in order to cater to the demands it is necessary to ramp the production”.
He further added that the company has fewer inventories with the dealers and this creates a fear in the unstable market. M&M is a very strong player in the rural market for tractors and now the company will stress on rural market for its car. source: http://www.carazoo.com/autonews
