Hyundai Motors India Hikes Car Prices by 1.2 percent to 3 percent

Hyundai India has increases the prices of its car models by 1.2 percent to 3 percent in order to absorb the high input cost. The car models like the Santro, i10, and the Accent is now heavy on pockets with the introduction of new price tags.

The prices of these models went up within the range of Rs 3,601 to Rs 14,636. After the increase of the prices, the Santro will come with an additional cost of Rs 3,601 to Rs 5,163, the i10 will be costlier by Rs 3,974 to Rs 7,637, Accent from mid-size segment will be dearer by Rs 14,636 and the all-new Verna also saw a revised price tag.

Currently the company has announced the hike only for the above mentioned models. The other models from Hyundai stable like the premium hatchback i20 and the luxury sedan Sonata Transform are unaffected by the price hike.
