Tata Motors swings to loss in Q3 Tata Motors swung to loss for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the company reported loss of Rs 2,632.60 million compared with a profit of Rs 4,990.50 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales declined 34.38% to Rs 47,586 million, while total income for the quarter fell 33.85% to Rs 48,581.30 million, when compared with the prior year period.
The company reported loss of Rs 5.51 a share during the quarter.
