Bajaj Auto is planning to launch six models of motorcycles this year under the value for money segment, reports Economic Times.
Also in the pipeline is a bunch of new gearless scooters to cash in on the sole two-wheeler segment that is doing well.
It is learnt that these models of motorbikes would be priced at roughly Rs 40,000 each.
Shares of the company gained Rs 9.25, or 1.95%, to trade at Rs 483.40. The total volume of shares traded was 9,346.00 at the BSE (11.49 a.m., Wednesday).
